TYPE OF MULCH & LOAM AVAILABLE AND THEIR USES.

Red Hemlock - A premium product in high demand. Rich, brick-red color. Prized for its color, the supreme product in the mulch industry.
Hemlock Mix - A reddish brown mulch consisting of a blend of hemlock, pine, spruce and fir.
Dark Pine - Northern softwood blend of spruce and pine. Natural, rich brown color.
Composted Screened Loam - Deep, rich dark black color, screened at 3/8" and less.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED?

To calculate the amount of mulch you’ll need for your landscape project, follow this easy equation:

Step 1: Multiply Length in feet x Width in feet = square feet

Step 2: Refer to chart below for sq. ft. coverage in yards. Please order mulch by the yard.

1 cubic yard 1 inch deep will cover 324 square feet
1 cubic yard 2 inches deep will cover 162 square feet
1 cubic yard 3 inches deep will cover 108 square feet
1 cubic yard 4 inches deep will cover 81 square feet
1 cubic yard 5 inches deep will cover 64 square feet
1 cubic yard 8 inches deep will cover 54 square feet
