Bark, Mulch & Loam

Red Hemlock is a product in high demand. It is prized for its rich, brick-red color and it is the supreme product in the mulch industry.

Premium is a blend of hemlock, pine and spruce-fir bark with a hint of red color that looks great and is less expensive than Red Hemlock.

Mix Mulch is a mix of light brown softwood bark that is ground to a medium texture.

Wicked Dark Pine is a color enhanced Northern softwood blend of spruce and pine that has aged through the winter to develop the rich, dark black color for which it is named.

Playground Mulch is an all natural engineered wood fiber that is not messy and has been approved for playgrounds. It provides a cushion for play areas and it is safe for children.

Wood Chips are locally ground trees that have been chipped up by our arborists. They are "Made fresh daily."

Composted Screened Loam is a deep, dark black color, screened at 3/8" and less. It is a mixture of composted leaves, grass, manure, and loam making for a very rich composted soil.

Local Fill is a blend of local soil, rocks and aggregate that have come from the greater Marlboro area.

Step 2: Refer to chart below for sq. ft. coverage in yards. Please order mulch by the yard.

1 cubic yard 1 inch deep will cover 324 square feet
1 cubic yard 2 inches deep will cover 162 square feet
1 cubic yard 3 inches deep will cover 108 square feet
1 cubic yard 4 inches deep will cover 81 square feet
1 cubic yard 5 inches deep will cover 64 square feet
1 cubic yard 8 inches deep will cover 54 square feet
