Initial Consultation:
The initial consultation includes a comprehensive interview with you, to determine your particular interests and needs. Our designs work and are built because we cater to your specific needs and address all of those needs within a thoughtful design.
Site Visit and Analysis:
A detailed site analysis allows us to note the unique features of our property. A careful analysis allows us to utilize the features of your property when working on the design.
Conceptual Master Plan:
Based on the consultation and the site analysis we will develop one or more concepts for your property. The concept will show you how all the features you want work together and work with the features of your property.
Presentation of Concept Plan:
The presentation of the concept allow us to gain valuable input from you before we start looking at specific materials, plant materials or other details. We value your input since we are designing a property for your use not ours.
Layout and Planting Plan:
The details can make or break a strong concept. Material choices should highlight the features of the concept. Unified details will bring everything together to create a unified design. Using a large palette of plant materials will create excitement through all of the seasons.
Presentation of Layout and Planting Plan:
Once again your input is valued and we are looking for specific concerns at this point so that when construction is complete you have the garden of your dreams. Further work on the design can take place after this point but since we are a Design/Build firm most changes can be handled within the framework of the contract for construction.
